It is with deep regret that I learned about Glenda’s passing. I have so many fond memories of that dear lady. Those memories started when I was ten and friends with Karen and continued to being teaching partners with her. I will always remember her love of children, boundless energy, and zest for life. She will be greatly missed, but I bet she is organizing a fun event in heaven.

Karen and Linda, I am so sorry on the loss of your mother. Glenda was a good friend to my parents. I know growing up and going to Southridge Elementary School, she was an awesome school secretary and an awesome school teacher.

Glenda was so wonderful to help the 1st grade teachers at Maple Grove Elementary School in Greenwood after her retirement. She was the expert helper we needed for our writing program. We loved "Glenda days" and the joy she brought to all of us with her encouragement and enthusiasm.
