Jackie Peterson

Jackie Peterson, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 4, 2014 at the Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on May 16, 1935, in Kentucky, the daughter of Thearn and Jessie (Yaden) Peterson. Jackie was a beautician for 27 years and was a member of the New Point Christian Church.

She was a very compassionate individual and was a blessing to so many people. She loved her family beyond words and will be sadly missed by all. Jackie will live on in the hearts and memories of all that love her.

Survivors include: Companion for many years- James Lilly, Son- Dennis Spears, Grandchildren- Mary Ann (Husband- Kenny) Glenn, Dennis, Jr. (Wife- Lori) Spears, Sisters- Rosalie Stegner and Janice (Husband- Larry) Wilson, Brother- Ernie Peterson, and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by: her Parents, Sister- Pauline Napier, Brothers- Eugene Peterson, Thomas Peterson, and James Peterson.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the New Point Christian Church on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 1:30 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:30 pm. Rev. Mark Vice will be officiating. Burial will take place at the Rossburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the New Point Christian Church.
