Jerry Lee Motz, 71, of Greensburg passed away on August 19, 2015 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1944 in Greensburg the son of Raymond and Mary Motz. On May 11, 1963 he married Dorothy Stuart. He worked for Bohn Aluminum, Ranch Supermarket, was a carpenter, and had previously drove a Semi for North American and Sharon Brown Trucking. Jerry loved music and was a former member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include: Wife- Dorothy Motz; Children- Richard (Diane) Motz, Tammy (Sam) Fletcher, Jeffery (Amy) Motz, and Pamela (Rick) Carroll; Brother- Steve (Bonnie) Motz; 18 Grandchildren; and 25 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister- Cindy Hubbard; Great Grandson- Skylar Seitz.
A Funeral will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Brother Forest Hamilton will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.gilliland-howe.com
