With Dan, Fran, Jason, and Ashleigh as living testimonials to John Hicks, he must have been a good man indeed. We salute John's service to our country, both during its time of need as a soldier, and through a lifetime of providing essential services to help it thrive and grow. May God bless your family to help you see through the pain of the loss to instead remember the love and joy that lives on still.

I have only known John for the last 5 years but have really enjoyed his friendship. Our acquaintance started at Arbys and became a week-end routine. John would come in @ 6:10 am and I looked forward to his company. John amazed me with his memory and had so many stories of the past. John will now be with his wife of which he cherished and spoke of with the highest respect. John I will miss you greatly.

Dan, Fran and family, I am sorry to hear about your loss. Dan, in knowing you throughout the years it is obvious you had a strong support system from youth. After reading about your Dad, it is easy to see how you became the great gentlemen that you have become. A great legacy that continues to be carried out.
Your faith in Christ will help you and your family walk thru this time. Our prayers are with you and your family. Tommy and Linda Bible

To the Family of John H. Hicks:
Our condolences and best wishes for you during your time of loss. What a privilege you have had to have seen such a wonderful life of service to country, God and family; truly a member of The Greatest Generation. I think perhaps the greatest of God's gifts is the chance to see one's children and grandchildren grow in lives of happiness and success. I know Jason personally, and I am sure John was proud of the fine lawyer and man he watched Jason become. John knew that he would meet again his friends and family on the distant shore, never to be parted. Rest well, Brother John.

Dan
Thoughts and prayers with you.
We are never ready to let go of our parents no matter how old they are. Your father served his country well and gave the natural gas industry a great legacy in your service. He had reason to be proud of you.

Dan, your father will live on through you -- you really look like him. I know this is a sad time for you and your family and I am sorry for your loss. By reading his accomplishments, it's easy to see he led a successful and dignified life. He was blessed with a long life and a great son and family, how fortunate he was. I know he will be missed and at the same time you can take comfort in knowing he is at peace in Heaven. You are all in my prayers for God to give you peace and safe travels.

Mr. Hicks...we've never met. My name is Byron Walker (Alpha-Omega Training). I do all the classroom OQ training for TGA. I just wanted to say that I know how hard it is when your Dad passes on and that you and your family will be in mine and my wife's prayers; and always remember: if you will follow Jesus, you'll never get lost.

Dan and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my father last December and I know what your loss means to you. He set an example of servitude and being a gentleman that lives on in you, Dan, as you have passed on to your children. All my best, my friend.

Dan, Fran, Jason, and Ashleigh,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at the passing of your father and grandfather. I know these last months have been very difficult as his health was in decline. He now rests from his labor of illness and is in the arms of Jesus. May God grant you comfort and peace now and throughout the future as you adjust to life without your beloved Dad and Grandpa.
Sending you all love,
Jean
