Lisa Kay Elles, 57, of Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. Lisa was born on July 16, 1957, in Crawfordsville, IN, the daughter of Darrel and Lois (Pitcock) Newell.
Lisa worked as a Registered Nurse at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. She enjoyed gardening as well as spending time with her son and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Matthew Elles of Greensburg, two grandchildren – Matthew and Lillian Elles, two sisters – Tina Newell and Gayle Wilkins, five brothers Sam (Penny), Darren (Debbie), Fred, Scott, and Jamie (Kim) Newell, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law Brent Wilkins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 5PM – 8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Lisa’s Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 27 at 10AM also at the funeral home, with burial to follow at the Hebron Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lisa to the Bread of Life.
