

Lois I. Hadler, 88, of Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Lois was born on December 10, 1926 in Rush County, the daughter of Frank and Gertie (Lee) Morgan. On October 12, 1946, Lois married Raymond Hadler in St. Paul, IN; he preceded her in death November 16, 2012.
Lois worked for 40 years at Henningsen’s Flower & Gift Shop until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the First Church of God and the churches women’s group; she was also a member of the Pythian Sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Beverly (Darrell) Grimes of Greensburg, her sons Douglas (Elizabeth) Hadler of Jonesborough, TN and William (Sue) Hadler of Greensburg, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters Eura Cassin, Jean Henningsen and Maxine Morgan, and five brothers Howard, Donald, Lowell, Frank “Bobby,” and Harold Morgan.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 3PM-7PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Her Funeral Service will begin at 10:30AM on Tuesday, October 27 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God or the Zion Cemetery Association.
