Loren Alan Briggs, 82 of Greensburg passed away on May 24, 2024. He was born on September 5, 1941 in Vevay, Indiana the son of Alan and Annabelle Wolf Briggs. Loren was a 1959 graduate of Vevay High School. He served in the United States Air Force. He then attended Purdue University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. Loren owned and operated Briggs Equipment from 1968 until he retired. He enjoyed tractor pulling, horse pulls and the Decatur County Fair.
Survivors include: Children, Luann (Greg) Davis, Joseph Briggs, Greg Briggs and Teresa Briggs; Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; and a Sister, Janice (Tom) Smith. He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Honoring Loren’s wishes there will be no public services. He will be inurned at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Decatur County Community Foundation to be directed to the Decatur County 4-H Foundation Fund.
