Obituary of Margaret Louise Bostic
Margaret Louise Bostic, 83 of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Aspen Place Health Campus. Margaret was born on June 5, 1936 in Greensburg, the daughter of Paul and Dulcie (Alvey) Ryle. She married Wilbur Bostic on February 19, 1955 and he survives. Other survivors include her children – Peggy (Frank) Dean of Greensburg, Glenn (Terri) Bostic of Ft. Myers, FL and Amy (Darin) Lucas of Greensburg; her four sisters – Janice Hunter, Pauline Gehl, Carolyn Klosterkemper and Linda Bausback; and her nine grandchildren – Bobbie, Tracy, James, Jeraby, Paige, Tyler, Aaron, Seth and Gabe. She was preceded in death by her parents. Margaret worked with her sister Carolyn for many years at her shop, Little Angels, on the square. She enjoyed bowling and was on a league for more than 20 years and served as league secretary for a number of years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 10am until the start of the Funeral Service at 1pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Union Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Our Hospice.
