My dear Betsy. Thought of you and Marilyn many times. Was talking about Marilyn this past Friday with Helga Schwartz, one of her classmates and my Sister-in-law. I was a year behind them, but we had many good times at Good Ole ICA and the few times I went home with her for a week-end in 1961.
Will be praying and thinking of you all at this sad time.
Love and God Bless. Maryanne Fehlinger, Brookville, IN

My heart is so heavy. You look so beautiful. I could not have dreamed up a better neighbor and friend for the last 9 years. Also getting to share a job with you at Crafts & Occasions was one of the highlights of me and my sisters life’s! I am truly not sure if there was ever a more pure, compassionate, caring and giving soul. I have loved living next to ‘The Sisters’! You fought so hard. I will miss you calling me silly names, telling Craig thank you 200 times for the silliest little things he did, telling me to ‘get some shoes on, sis!’ and all of the sweet, quirky things about you! Thank you to you and Betty for so much more than you know. I love you, Marilyn!

So sorry to hear of the passing of my classmate Marilyn.....I am happy to say that she and I had a nice visit together on a beautiful fall day some years ago in Oldenburg. Rest in peace, Marilyn, and may your family be consoled.

Just wanted to say how proud to be a part of this huge family. I love how all my aunts and uncles have taken care of each other. So many behind the scenes acts of kindness from them. The age before social media, they didn’t do for others and expect accolades. I have countless memories of Aunt Marilyn.I loved her passion to preserve the history of the family. When as a child my family had needs that weren’t being met, they made sure we had what we needed. Words cannot express how grateful I am for them all. Aunt Marilyn you will be missed as all who have preceded you in the family. You would love the outpouring of love for you. Rest easy and I love you.
