Martha Elizabeth Scheidler Doles

Martha Elizabeth Doles, 80, of Greensburg passed away on March 29, 2016. She was born on December 26, 1935, in Decatur County, the daughter of Roman and Clara (Tebbe) Scheidler. Martha was a 1954 graduate of Greensburg High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include: Daughters- Jennifer England (Gary Goodin) and Bonnie (Kevin) Crider; Sons- Scott (Debbie) Doles, Douglas (Susan) Doles, Kirk (Diane) Doles, and Robb Doles; Sisters- Doris (Tom) Kirschner and Marlene (Ross) Brown; Brother- Robert (Jeanie) Scheidler; 17 Grandchildred and 24 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her: Parents; Grandson- Kristoffer Green; Brother- Edgar Scheidler; and Sister in Law- Kathleen Scheidler.

Family and friends will pray the Rosary at 3:30 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with visitation following until 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, April 1, 2016 with Father John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
