Maxine Wright Peetz

Maxine Peetz, 91, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the Morning Breeze Nursing Home. Maxine was born in Decatur County on August 17, 1924, the daughter of Calvin and Pearl (Buchanan) Wright. She married Melvin Peetz and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2003.

Maxine worked as an Inspector at Bohn Aluminum for 21 years until her retirement in the late 1970’s. She was a member of the Bethel Apostolic Church.

She is survived by her sons – Darrell (Ronda) Peetz of Greensburg and Robert Peetz of Columbus; one sister Ruby Dumont; one brother Robert (Nova) Wright; six grandchildren – Chris (Cathy) Peetz, Lindsey (Dustin Murray) Peetz, Stephanie Peetz, Erik Peetz, Kara Peetz, and Kailey Peetz; five great grandchildren– Spencer, A.J., Erik II, Isaiah and Merrik Peetz; several nieces and nephews as well as the girls at Morning Breeze who loved their Aunt Mac. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five sisters – Edith Wright, Virginia Wright, Venesa Wright, LaVern Mozingo and Lois Tribble; three brothers Harold, Hershell and Darrell Wright; and one grandson Robert Darrell Peetz.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the Bethel Apostolic Church from 11AM until the start of the funeral service at 12PM.
