

Raymond Laurence Hadler, 90 of Greensburg, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Heritage House Nursing Home in Greensburg. Raymond was born, the son of Conrad and Flora Wiedemann-Hadler on December 24, 1921 in Decatur County. On October 12, 1946 Raymond married Lois Morgan in St. Paul, Indiana, and she survives.
Raymond served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. He was in the C.B.I. – China Burma India Theatre. Raymond worked for 33 years at Bohn Aluminum in Greensburg until his retirement. He also attended the First Church of God and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Lois, their Daughter Beverly Anne (Darrell) Grimes of Greensburg, Sons – Douglas Duane (Elizabeth) Hadler of Jonesborough, TN and William Gene (Sue) Hadler of Greensburg, seven Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Sisters- Mildred Cox, Iva Dice, Viola Huber, Velma Thackery, Lillian Witkemper and one infant sister, and Brothers- Harley Hadler, Earl Hadler, and one infant brother.
There will be a Visitation for family and friends on Tuesday, November 20 from 4PM – 8PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 21 at 10:30AM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Zion Cemetery Association.
