He leaves behind his mom, brother Alexander King, his Meme Connie S. Rogers of Manilla; Aunt Pacia (Jonathan) Gelfius of Shelbyville, Uncle William (Leahann) Degelow of Milroy; his three young cousins and biggest fans Jocelynne Degelow, Dalton Gelfius, and Jensen Degelow; and honorary brother A.J. Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his Pepaw Robert E. Degelow Jr., Pepaw Robert D. Rogers, and Memaw Virginia Rogers.
Caleb was a fiercely protective son and brother. During times spent with family, his young cousins often tackled him at the door and with an infinite patience he kept up with hours of play and make believe.
He was accepting of all people and tried to see the good in each person he met. If Caleb called you a friend you were family to him. Caleb had a love of music that he shared with his mother. The two would often let the neighborhood know they were home by the loud bass bumping.
He had a smile that could light up the whole room, was always quick with a joke, and had a heart of gold. Caleb made an impact on everyone that knew him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
A reception style visitation for Caleb will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, 110 East North Street, Greensburg, Indiana. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 110 East North Street, Greensburg, Indiana with Pastor Robb Barlow officiating. Burial will occur Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Manilla Cemetery in Manilla, Indiana.
Serving as pallbearers are Alexander King, AJ Anderson, Thaddeus Brown, Chris Villanueva, Antonio Carrillo, Corbon Cundiff, Ehan Raeth, Chantz Hampton, Hayden Foerster, Martin Robbins, Bradley Richards, and Femi Straight.
