Ron always was a great guy to be around. I enjoyed playing cards with him over the years at the country club, and love the tomatoes he grew and shared with me. R.I.P. my friend.

Suzette and Jennifer my old friends, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

One of my favorite things about Ron was his green thumb he had. Especially his red geraniums! Absolutely beautiful. He could bring them back to life year after year.   Loved hearing how he and Mary would go dancing with their friends. Of course can’t forget about his Fishing & the joy it brought to Mary seeing Ron and their Grandson Zach spending time together going fishing. Our Love and prayers to all his Family & Friends💙

Had to borrow the UC hat or else it was IU through and through. He caught this bass first cast of the day. He put it back and I asked, “how do you feel?”, to which he responded, “I’d like to do that again!” I learned a lot that day from him.

Three things Ron loved: IU, dogs, and fishing.

Ron is survived by his children, Kristie, Suzette, Jennifer and Alescia (Greg); grandchildren, Alexandra (Andrew), Aaron, Mark, Abigail, Samuel, Jessica, Zachary (Amanda), Taylor (Casey) and Gabrielle (Luis); brother, Ed (Clara) Bewley; sister, Mary (Dave) Weisheit; nephew, Rick (Lynn) Bewley; niece, Sandra (Larry) Nieman; and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Bewley and Terry Bewley; and his nephew, Michael Bewley.
