Sandy Kay Owens, 70, of Greensburg, passed away on September 1, 2019. She was born on August 17, 1949, in Greensburg, the daughter of Thomas and Grace Owens Robbins. Sandy was a 1967 graduate of Greensburg Community High School. On July 13, 1968 she married William Owens at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Together they raised two children Scott and Melinda. Sandra was a homemaker and was a member of the New Life Baptist Church.

She is survived by her Husband, William Owens; Son, Scott Matthew Owens; Daughter, Melinda Renee (Chris) Payne; Grandchildren, Alexis (Gavin) Detraz, Sydney Owens, Zoe Payne, Ava Payne, and Eli Payne; Mother, Grace Robbins; Siblings, Billy (Brenda) Robbins, Wanda (Rick) Ebinger, Gary (Debbie) Robbins, and Tommy (Bobette) Robbins; and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Robbins and infant Son, Christopher Shane Owens.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 105 E. Barachel Lane, Greensburg, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm with a fellowship pitch-in dinner to follow until 4:00 pm. Rev. Chuck Gerrian will be officiating.
