Sherry Rose Schlueter, 73 of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at the IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Sherry was born in Greensburg on May 15, 1942, the daughter of Jack and Lola Gannon. She married John Schlueter on August 26, 2000 in Gatlinburg, TN and he survives.
Other survivors include two daughters Lisa (Jeffery) Tinsley of Bloomington and DeAnn (Tim Walter) Abraham of Indianapolis, her sisters Sandra (Harold) Powell of Milan and Alma (Henry) Land of Greensburg, four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her children George, Jackie and Mickie Davidson.
Sherry worked as a Nurse Aid instructor for many years at the Odd Fellows Home. She then went back to school and graduated from Ivy Tech with her LPN in Nursing, then started working as a nurse in a medical office for several years.
