Kind and generous are two words that well describe Steve, who did not just take care of those he loved, but supported those he never knew. He was a tender-hearted soul who loved his friends and family. The light of his life was his grandson, Landon, who he affectionately referred to as his “little buddy”. Traveling, watching or attending a Reds or Cubs game was a favorite pastime, but golfing with his longtime friends was closest to his heart.
Steve fought bravely and courageously through a long battle with pancreatic cancer. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Shannon Burford will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
