Tim McGinn, age 53, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Greensburg on July 12, 1965, and lived in Greensburg his entire life. Tim graduated from Greensburg High School in 1983 and then graduated from Purdue University in 1987 with a Supervision Technology degree. Tim has been a local businessman for many years. He lived a life of endless selflessness and compassion.
Survivors include his daughter, Kaleigh McGinn of West Lafayette, IN, his son, Kole McGinn of West Lafayette, IN, mother, Linda (Nee: McCamment) McGinn and friend Dale Ortman, father, Ed (Mary Sue) McGinn, brother, Chris McGinn all of Greensburg, and former wife, Michelle McGinn, of Madison, IN.
Tim's wishes were to be cremated with no funeral service. A reception style visitation to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Donations in his memory can be made to the Decatur County Animal Shelter or the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church through Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home.
