Verna B. “Jean” Hummel, 66 of Seymour, IN., formerly of Greensburg, IN. passed away Monday March 4, 2013 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. She was born June 29, 1946 in Guildford, IN., the daughter of Frank Sr. and Frances (Voiles) Moore. She was a member of the Seymour First Nazarene Church. She worked at Batesville Casket for 38 years and also at KB Foods. She married Robert L. Hummell March 26, 1966 in Laurel, IN. and he preceded her in death June 13, 1998.
She is survived by her mother, one daughter: Kelly (David) Couch of Seymour, IN.; one Son: Daniel (Stephanie) Hummell of Shelbyville, IN.; three Sisters: Sue Howard of Greensburg, Ann (Tom) Dwenger of Gwynnville, IN, and Sandra Smeal of Greensburg; one Brother: Bill Moore of Greensburg. Six Grandchildren also survive.
