William M. Fenley

William M. Fenley, 84, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Bill was the son of Charles and Lavon (Marlin) Fenley, born on June 3, 1928 in Greensburg. He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1946 and farmed with his family. In 1951, he served his country in the United States Army, during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1953. Bill enjoyed raising livestock and especially Shorthorn Cattle with his family. Bill attended the Community Church of Greensburg, where he enjoyed small groups and church activities. He also enjoyed 4-H and being a club leader in Clinton Township for several years. Bill married Karen (Moore) Fenley on December 15, 1957, and she survives.
Bill and Karen have a daughter Debra (Terry) Clark, two sons Bill and Kent Fenley, and a daughter Tami (Edward) Kacmar. They have eight grandchildren: Aaron (Jennifer) Clark, Amanda and Levi Clark, Allison (Jason) Blunk, Liz Kacmar and fiancé Nick Chapman, Charlie, Anna, and Lillie Kacmar, and a great granddaughter Lauren Clark.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Gilliland Howe Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Jon Porter will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Community Church of Greensburg.
