Born on March 19, 1957, in Connersville, he was the son of William and Lola Cooksey Stumpf. Scott was a graduate of Brookville High School. He worked at Frisch's in Greensburg and K-Mart in Richmond.
A member of Greensburg United Methodist Church, Scott had a unique gift for bringing joy to others. He participated in Clown Ministry and delighted audiences as a talented balloon artist at birthdays, fairs, nursing homes, and local restaurants throughout the years.
Scott is survived by his three sons, William Christopher Stumpf, Jonathan Michael Stumpf, and Matthew Paul Stumpf; his grandchildren, Colton, Quinn, and Logan Stumpf; and his brothers, Ronald Wayne Stumpf and Richard Nelson Stumpf. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In honoring with his wishes, a graveside service will be held at South Park Cemetery at a later date and service details will be shared as soon as it is scheduled.
