I remember going to school with him! He was a very sweet young man. I missed going to school with him after I graduated. He could brighten up everyone's day.

I remember Alex coming out to see who was visiting his Grandma Kathleen. He found me sitting on a couch where Kathleen later told me he would sometimes nap. He sat very close to me and gently pushed at me. He was probably ready for his nap. :-) He was such a friendly and gentle soul. My condolences to Tim and Robin and Grandma Kathleen. May God be your refuge during this difficult time. Connie

I loved my time spent with Alex at Greenville City Schools - at East, South, the Junior High and High schools. I loved sharing holiday meals he had helped prepare. I loved sharing Special Olympics events. I loved Alex’s smile and his all in enthusiasm. I loved Alex and his ability to communicate what he wanted. At one Special Olympics track meet it was really hot. Alex kept pointing to the word swimming on my shirt. He AND I wanted to head for a pool. Praying for Alex’s family and friends. May he Rest In Peace and may we celebrate Alex’s life. Rush
