As Steve Cleary stated earlier I've know Brad for a very long time. I have many stories I could tell about our late night gaming sessions. The many times I visited him in WP, Va...or the last weekend I spent at his house in Ohio. He told me that he was being Knighted and asked if I would come take photos of the special event. I couldn't turn my Brother down so I took the day off work, drove up and took some photos. Brad was one of my best friends in this world. He had a heart of gold. I'm going to miss him so very much. Until we meet again Brother!!!
Monique, Brad didn't post the photos I took that day. I still have them if you'd like a copy.

I was just telling the wife last night that I had called you for 8 days straight with no answer and I was getting worried. I wasn't ready to hear the news. Brad, you were a brother and friend. I'm a Marine, and as I sit here typing, I'm bawling. The first time I met you, you were a crusty vet that like guns and smoked Reds. The second time, you were bringing me a walking boot, crutches and meds for a fracture ankle that work-comp was jerking me around on. I couldn't believe that you drove from West Point to Richmond for someone you knew nothing about. It was hard to give back to you, but I finally got to last year when you had surgery. I spent the day with Mickey while you were under. He's crushed and has no clue where his dad went. I will do anything I can for Mick, Brad, I know what he did for you and what he meant to you.. I won't forget the time you asked me to come help you fix a thing or two at your parents house. If they call, you know I'll help them any way I can. I know that you're finally pain free, standing next to The Healer. You're loved and missed Brother. You saved my life on more than one occasion. You asked my to help teach your daughter to shoot at the range in West Point the same way you asked me to get out of AFG the last couple years. I'll miss our conversations most of all.. I know that the next time I see you, you'll be standing next to Jesus, no pain, all smiles.
Stay frosty and watch your 6, Bang.

Brad or "Bang" as how I met him through gaming, was the nicest person you would ever come across, He will alway be my brother! We started a gaming clan called [SOFW] Soldiers of Foreign Wars with another friend Martin/ Jared and of couse Red Jello Factory/Justin lol in or around 2003, those were some of the best years of my life! I had lost my job and he said I'll send you some money and you can come up to Rhode Island and work for me for a month, well the next day he wired me enough money to pay my bills for the month and said i'll be down to get you tomorrow, that was a 15hr drive and low and behold he was knocking on my door the next day... We would get up for work at 5:30 be at Starbucks at opening sit there for an 1hr or so just talking to everyone and he said lets not work today and I'll show you the sites lol, I think he was just wanting a buddy to hang out with cause out of the month i was there we only work maybe 4 or 5 days total lol! Then he helped me through my divorce and I went stayed a week in West point, Va with him and Wynde, never would let me pay for anything!! I could go on and on but I know y'all knew what kind of person he was... He was an amazing friend!
Love you Bang! RIP!

Way to many memories to fit in this little space.. growing up I remember Charlie horses and laughing and secrets and driving mom and dad crazy, as a young adult I remember the uncle brad that played and educated, as a young man I remember the military Brad, the very invested in his country and brothers, brother...the father and husband. Recent years I remember the gun shooting coffee drinking cigarette smoking, dog loving Brad..even more recent was the sick, tired ,patient, loving, care giving, pissed off at the government, love his lord savior Jesus Christ Brad. All of the "Brad's" I remember all possessed the same thing, a huge giving heart that loved with all he had and was so passionate about so much ❤️ I have heard SO MANY wonderful stories about Brad and it brings our family comfort to hear or read the wonderful things Brad did and how many lives he truly touched with something so simple as the giving of his time to just be a friend and listen. The world for sure has lost one of the best of the best kind of man.. even in his after life he chose to serve and protect, as he was knighted Sir Bradley Charles Phlipot. I love you forever big brother and I know your watching out for pops and mom and Wendy and us all... See you on the other side 😘🖤✌️
