Carol was born on February 10, 1955, in Greenville to the late Betty (Lecklider) Delk and Raymond Miller. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Richard Delk; brother, Bob Miller; and grandparents, Roy & Treva Lecklider.
Carol is survived by her husband, Tim Reck whom she married December 11, 1993; sons & daughters-in-law, Ronny & Kelley Richards of Commercial Point, Ohio, and Michael & Tammy Richards of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Vivian Richards, Gwyn Richards, Tabitha Richards, Madyson & Tyler Nevels, and Corbin Richards; great grandchildren, Hazelee Nevels and Kallen Nevels; and sisters, Connie (Doug Foureman) Walters, and Sharon (Nick) Eckstein; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol was a 1973 graduate of Greenville High School. She worked at Derby in Greenville, bartended at the Moose, and worked at Staples in Greenville. She was a member of the Greenville Moose and Greenville American Legion. She enjoyed harness racing, gambling, talking to her friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. Carol was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice in Greenville.
