Carol Sue Schuler

Carol Sue Schuler, 76 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday July 12, 2026, at 10:22 PM at Kettering Health. Carol was born November 27, 1949, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late, Harry E. Brown and Mary (North) Melia.

Carol worked for Merchant Security for 30 years; she then worked for Sciota Services. She was a member of the Hamilton Eagles; she loved life and enjoyed roller skating, classic cars; she was the life of the party and loved telling jokes; she loved spending time with her family and having cookouts with them; she lived life her way. She devoted her time to saving animals.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary Schuler; her children, Roberta Jo, Brandon Joseph; and her stillborn daughter; and her sisters, Betty Jordan, Margaret Ellen Grile, Shirley Ford, and Helen Teeter.

Carol is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leigh-Anne, and Brandon Huskey; her grandchildren, James Christopher, Brantley Landon, Alexis Catherine, and Camden Reilly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Carol will be held on Thursday July 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to 2nd Hand Paws Rescue www.secondhandpaws.org
