Mrs. Detling will be so missed. She was a light in our lives during the time my son attended school at St. Marys. I will never forget her kindness and beautiful spirit. She truly was a shining example of love in action, and I feel so blessed to have known her and experienced her kind heart and sweet smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this time. "And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." Luke 23:43

With Love,
Stacie and Evan

My heart is broken, Chris was one of the most kind people I ever met. She never gave up, never let it show if she was hurting. I was diagnosed with cancer a year after her and she always ask how I was doing, as I would her, we shared our journey stories.
Just a few weeks ago I waited on her and again she said “I am doing ok”.
From her infectionest smile, to that cute curly hair that came back, to the kind words, she will never be forgotten.
She was more then a customer, she was a friend.
My/our thoughts and prayers for the family, God welcomed a wonderful lady home.

Chris was always a smiling face and a pleasant, kind voice whenever you spoke with her in person or by phone . She was always ready to help in any way she could and if she didn't have the answer, she got it for you. She was a gift for St Mary's school.

You will be missed by so many. You touched the lives of countless children and parents and will always be remembered as the face of St Mary's school.

Heaven has received a special angel.

I knew Chris in the 70's - we were young girls and she babysat my neighbors. We just adored her....she was so beautiful, we called her our very own "Marsha Brady" <3
She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.
I was blessed to have been able to reconnect with her over this last year. My prayers for comfort go to Ryan and his family - Chris was a true blessing who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
