Claude G Kirkpatrick

Claude G Kirkpatrick, 90 of Celina, Ohio and formerly of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday July 18, 2026, at 5:40 AM at Mercy Health, Lima, Ohio. Claude was born January 10, 1936, in Greenfield, Indiana, the son of the late Clyde Grover and Marjorie Ann (Gambel) Kirkpatrick.

Claude served his country in the United States Army; he worked for 8 years a Cadillac Gauge, 10 years at Green Toki in Brookville; then owned and operated picnics Pizza and Grille in Arcanum with his wife. He enjoyed harness racing, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Yankees, and the Indiana Hoosiers.

Claude is preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Nadine Kirkpatrick; his siblings, an infant sister, Jack Kirkpatrick, Paul Kirkpatrick, Linda McCutchen, and Judy Hites.

Claude is survived by his wife, Trudy (Weaver) Kirkpatrick whom he married November 23, 1984; his children and spouses, David (Traci) Kirkpatrick, Brian (Sherrie) Kirkpatrick, Barbara (Rick) Watkins, and Brenda Kirkpatrick; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren with one on the way; 3 great great grandchildren; his sisters, Joyce Ann Durham, and Nancy Driver; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Wednesday July 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Bud Walls officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
