Cynthia J. (Tester) Howell

Cynthia was born on November 10, 1958, in Greenville, to Barbara Jean (Cox) Tester of Greenville and the late William Charles Tester.

In addition to her mother, Cynthia is survived by her husband, Kenneth Howell whom she married May 19, 2014; son, William Charles Tester of Greenville; step sons, Dwight Howell of Jamestown and Michael Howell of Jamestown; grandchild, Abby McGlinch; step grandchildren, Ashley Howell, Aydan Howell, and Arya Howell; brother & sister-in-law, Randy & Jane Tester of Greenville; special sister & brother, Melina Riegel & Nicholas Tommaselli of Buford, Georgia; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Angela & James Partlow of Jamestown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cynthia worked at New Sabina Industries. Cynthia graduated from Edison State Community College where she was a member of the Phi Theta Honor Society. She was a member of the Bubble Wray Bowling Girls and the Greenville Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Cynthia enjoyed bowling, gardening, and landscaping.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, May 8, 2026, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Union Cemetery.
