Hattie Hunt and family

It is with great sorrow and sympathy that I must write this note. With my inability to attend Dan's gathering, I must voice my sorrow at no being able to see him again at the ranges he so enjoyed.

His humor, insight and history of the shooting fraternity will sorely be missed. With his passing we have again have lost one of the once numerous competitors from western Ohio.

Discussing this and former losses with Jeff Perry, we realized that he and I may be the last of those "old shooters". I asked Jeff which of us would be next to go and in his quick wit he said he hoped it not to be him. Dan would have liked that humor as it sounded like something he would have said.

Thoughts and prayers
