Derral D. Ross

Derral D. Ross, age 78 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away at 10:43 AM Tuesday December 16, 2025, at the Brethren Retirement Community Greenville, Ohio. Derral was born August 24, 1947, in Greenville, Ohio and the son of the late Maurice and Lillian (Gamble) Ross.

He loved the outdoors, particularly spending time boating, snowmobiling, scuba diving and shooting. Derral was very proud of his family and loved spending valuable time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He had spent many years working on his farm and as a toolmaker.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Ross. They were married December 27, 1975. Also, their children Matthew (Stacey) Ross, Stephanie (Matthew) Mastriano and Amanda Ross; grandchildren Mason Ross, Gunner Ross, Jase Ross, Dominic Mastriano, Rowan Mastriano and Delilah Mastriano as well as sisters Jackie Wagner and Lisa (Jeff) Brooks.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday December 20, 2025, in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Brandon Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of the services.
