Donald George Beals

Donald was born on September 20, 1948, in Kettering, Ohio, to the late George & Bertha (Hartke) Beals. Donald was also preceded in death by his brother, Steve Beals.

Donald is survived by his children, Angela Powell and Michael & Bethany DeLong; grandchildren, Trinity Powell, Brianna “Brie” DeLong, and Emma DeLong; brothers & sisters-in-law, Howard & Kathy Beals and Charles & Patti Beals; sisters & brothers-in-law, Susan & Mark Mustard and Barbara & Steve Alfrey; sister-in-law, Pam Beals; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a farmer and worked at GM in Dayton and Whirlpool in Greenville. Donald was a pilot and enjoyed flying whenever he had the chance. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and riding his horses.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 9, 2026, at Castine Church, 624 US 127 Arcanum, OH 45304 with Pastor Greg Hyre officiating.
