

Rev. Donald D. Myers, age 90 went home to be with the Lord on [Date], surrounded by the love of his family. He lived a life of unwavering faith, compassionate service, and steadfast devotion to God, his family, and the countless people whose lives he touched.
For many years, Rev. Myers faithfully shepherded his congregation with wisdom, humility, and grace. He preached God's Word with conviction, offered comfort in times of sorrow, celebrated life's joys with his church family, and inspired others to walk closely with Christ. His legacy of faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Above all, he was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. His family was one of God's greatest blessings to him, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He led not only from the pulpit but also by example at home, demonstrating kindness, integrity, patience, and unconditional love.
Rev. Myers will be remembered for his gentle spirit, encouraging words, generous heart, and unwavering trust in the Lord. Though he will be deeply missed, his family and friends find comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ and rejoice in knowing he has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
He is survived by his wife Doris “Dodie” Ann Myers of Greenville; his children and spouses, Kathy Dishmond of Richmond, Indiana, Krista and Jeff Quellhorst of Greenville, Karrie and Lance Hemmelgarn of Greenville, Rev. Schuan and Darlene Myers of Reading, PA., and Tim and Jennifer Myers of Kettering, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his parents Ira and Tressie Myers; brother, Robert Myers; sister, Melody Holloway.
A celebration of Rev. Donald D, Myers life and faith will be held on Thursday July 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Tanner Romanian Mission, c/o Bruce Tanner, continuing the ministry and compassion that defined his life.
