Evabelle Heiser

Evabelle “Evie” Heiser age 86, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:35 P.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville. Evie was born April 6, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Charles Raymond & Eva Juanita (Seal) Stevens.

Evie is survived by her husband, Carl “Gene” Heiser whom she married June 23, 1967; son & daughter-in-law, Timothy & Michele Staley of Tipp City, Ohio; daughter & son-in-law, Theresa & Don Edwards of Kettering, Ohio; step-sons & daughters-in-law, Michael & Teresa Heiser of Rockford, Ohio and Rodney & Jan Heiser of Rockford, Ohio; step-daughter, Pamela Beahrs of Rockford, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Evie was also preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Clarke, step-granddaughter, Thalia Christlieb; brothers, Joseph & Russell Stevens; and sister, Eileen Palmer.

Evie was an artist at Olan Mills and a secretary from Kroger. She was a member of the Red Hat Society where she formerly served as secretary.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
