Words were never created that would be able to fully describe Uncle Herb and how much he meant to our family. We are so grateful that we got to spend as much time with him as we did. Holidays, birthdays, graduations, memorials, cookouts, the Garst and simple get togethers will forever have a void from here on, as he faithfully attended all of them. Herb was a true pillar in our family, and will be forever loved and missed.
- After you smooch on Ida, Tell Gma Shirley, Fred, Randy, Brook, Jordan and all those Ornery Lipps boys we miss them. I know you have a lot of catching up to do. Have fun up there old man <3

Thoughts & Prayers to the family. He will greatly missed by all.
Worked with him at Corning. Could not ask for a kinder boss. Always had a smile & ask how you were doing. After Corning always ran into him at the Fair & he always remember your name & ask how things were going. He was one of a kind. Rest in Peace dear Friend. πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

Oh, Herb! How I miss the daily chats with you while I worked at the post office in Palestine! I miss your smile and kind words!! Herb was the sweetest man I had ever met, and lots of times I wished I would have had a grandpa as loving, caring, and kind as him! I don't think I ever seen him without a smile on his face!

Herb always spoke highly of his daughter that lived in Florida, and how he couldn't wait to visit her!!

May u rest in Heaven sweet Herb! ❀

Yes, Herb just seemed to be "one of the good ole boys"! I only really knew him from the Alumni's and only the last several years when I started going. I always looked for him and loved to experience his smile and his fun personality and his zeal for life! We got the privilege to sit with him a few years back. Enjoyed every minute and loved hearing his stories!
Robin and Family, you have our Sincere Sympathy!

Scott's uncle Herb was one of the good ole boys! Wherever he went and whoever he ran into, he always radiated his infectious smile and love. He loved life and all his family and friends. He was the perfect example of how humankind should be to one another. We surely are going to miss his Sunday visits, all his Palestine history stories, great smile, big heart, hugs and kisses and just a swingin on his front porch! Rock on for eternity, Herb but remember, you are always going to be missed! πŸ’‹πŸ’ŸπŸ‘
