Janalyn “Jana” L. Deeter, 69 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 14, 2026, at her residence. Jana was born on March 24, 1957, in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of Joanna (Crowell) Deeter of Bradford and the late Olen Deeter.
Jana raised butterflies; she was very active in the community, and you would frequently see her at City Council Meetings, Darke County Commissioners Meetings, Park Board Meetings, and the Garst Museum. She was an avid collector of Greenville memorabilia.
Jana is preceded in death by her father; and her brother, John L. Deeter.
Jana is survived by her mother; her siblings, Joedy L. Deeter, Janeana L. Setser, and Jamey L. Deeter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Wednesday October 21, 2026, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
