Jeff Wolfe, 60, passed peacefully at home after a courageous and well fought 6-year battle with cancer. His bravery, strength, and determination after being diagnosed set an example to his family and friends on how to not die from cancer, but instead live life with cancer and continue to live life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Heidi, daughter Cierra and son-in-law Daniel Huelsman, and daughter Kelsey Wolfe and her partner Mathew Clutter. He was a loving Papaw to his precious “Peanut,” Elise Huelsman, and various “grand-dogs.” He is also survived by his parents, Bill and Janet Wolfe, and his younger brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Gina Wolfe. There are endless family and friends who loved and adored him, including his “wingman” Izzy Anguiano, and his sidekick dog, Lucy “The Chub.”
He is also survived by sister-in-law Carrie Sharp and her husband, Dave, sister-in-law Jackie Andrews, and brother-in-law Jerry Coffield and his wife Robin. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Velma Wolfe and Wayne and Viola Barnhardt.
Many people knew Jeff as the “Mac Tool Man,” as he and Heidi successfully owned the franchise for over 20 years. After selling the business, he then went on to be a field mechanic, which was his profession until he could no longer work due to the needed cancer treatments.
He could fix anything and everything and was very talented with guitars and dirt bikes. He was the ultimate “Girl Dad,” instilling in his daughters and granddaughter that they were capable of accomplishing and persevering through any of life’s obstacles. Jeff’s humility, bravery, work ethic, and kindness touched many lives and will be missed by all.
His wife and daughters would like to give an incredibly heartfelt “thank you” to Dr. Manish Sheth, Melissa Meyer, Jessica Gilbert, and Jennifer Hammaker from Premier Medical Oncology of Greenville, OH, who diligently worked to allow them to have Jeff present in their lives for 6 additional years. In lieu of flowers and gifts, his wife and daughters ask that everyone continue to do simple acts of kindness and help each other in his honor. If people feel the need to give, please give all memorial contributions to Cancer Association of Darke County in Greenville, OH.
A Celebration of Life will be held at J & J Enterprises located at 3875 OH-502, Greenville, OH, on April 21st, 2024.
