Joel Allen Rinehart

Joel Allen Rinehart, born in Hudson, MI on October 13, 1962, to the late Gayle Rinehart & Beatrice Davis Rinehart. Joel was a 1981 graduate of Hudson High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps from September of 1981 to September of 1984. Joel worked as an Over-the-Road semi driver for Van Eerden Trucking of Grand Rapids, MI. He was also an Ordained Minister and enjoyed performing Weddings for close friends.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother Robert Rinehart.

Joel is survived by his siblings, Gayla Ables of Temperance, MI; Phillip Rinehart and Paula Holland, both of Napoleon, OH; and Lauren and Josh Salazar of Adrian, MI. He is also survived by his children, Brittney Rinehart Richards of Wyoming, Thomas Rinehart and Dakota Rinehart of Colorado, and Kendra Funk of Indiana. Joel was blessed with four grandchildren, all residing in Colorado.

A celebration of Joel’s life will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 N. Broadway, Greeneville, OH. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.zecharbailey.com for the Rinehart family.
