Kenneth was born on July 30, 1937, in Union City, Indiana, to the late John & Fleta (Skidmore) Price. Kenneth was also preceded in death by a son, John Price, and brother, David Price.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 65 years, Melissa J. Price whom he married September 10, 1960; sons & daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Kathi Price Jr. of Greenville and Scott Price of Greenville; grandchildren, Bryant, Brock, Emma, Eric, Jahn, Chris, and Jesse; numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn Platt of Richmond, Indiana.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where he was a firefighter and arson investigator. Kenneth was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Greenville, Greenville American Legion Post #140 where he served many years of the Honor Guard, Greenville Masonic Lodge #143, Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, Greenville Elks where he served as Past Exalted Ruler and State Office. Kenneth was an avid golfer, working many years in retirement at Stillwater Valley Golf Club, and he loved to DJ for any occasion.
A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with full military honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
