We'll miss your smile and we'll miss working with you in the café. You are now a barista for Jesus in the truest sense.

I spent many many hours with Kevin over our teen years growing up as neighbors in Napoleon. Always ready to help you out, and always a laugh to go with it. Many, many great memories. If you met Kevin, you had to love him. From reading the other postings, it is good to see he continued to positively affect others throughout his life. He will truly be missed. Tom and I met Kevin at EUM. When the Coffee Ministry began, I really had a chance to get to know Kevin well. I worked with him many times in the coffee ministry and we always had so much fun. Sometimes I would make a big mess and he would laugh and say that he could make a bigger one! He was always so positive and pleasant and truly lived his life for the Lord. He always had a hug for everyone and was always willing to pray for you or with you if you needed him. Many prayers were answered when Kevin prayed for me. He always had a special coffee combination that he would make for Tom every Sunday. Kevin had been to our home and we had visited him at his home several times. When he was in North Carolina, Tom and I would call him to see how he was doing. One time when we called, he said "I am coming home because I really feel that is where the Lord wants me now and I always do what he wants." So, the Lord sent Todd to get him and bring him back to Greenville. It was a happy time and he spent time with his family and friends.
Kevin took a short break from the coffee ministry recently and then returned to help once again. I said "you are back!" He said " I know the Lord wants me back in here, so here I am driving Todd crazy again!" He laughed about that.
Several weeks ago, he said "I know I am suppose to be here, but when the Lord is ready for me, I will go, because I always go where he wants me to." I am sure where Kevin is right now, and I am sure he is making coffee for everyone.
Tom and I will miss Kevin because we did love him a lot.
"We will see you with the angels someday Kevin."
