Larry E. Darner

Larry Eugene Darner, age 86 of Bradford, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 5:22 AM at Hospice of Miami County, Troy, Ohio. Born in Greenville, Ohio on March 9, 1935 he was one of 2 children to the late Lem & Mary (Riggs) Darner. Larry was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Greenville, and attended the Salvation Army in Piqua, Ohio. He enjoyed collecting coins, and tinkering around with things, trying to fix them. He liked to watch western movies, and NASCAR races, his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. More than anything he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, he will be truly missed. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Rita (Shreaves) Darner: 3 sons Dave Darner, Ray Darner and Steve Darner.

Survived by grandchildren Amber Landis; Robert & Ann Darner; Ty Darner; Kelli & James Nicodemus; Ben Darner; Becky & Cody Partin; Diana Darner; Jessica Darner & fiancé Tyler Dysert; Rick Hartley & fiancée Amanda Slife; Shawnda Faehl: 19 great- grandchildren: brother Gary Lee Darner: daughter-in-law Marilyn Darner.

Friends may call on the family on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Funeral service to follow at noon.
