My deepest sympathy ~ Mr. Elsass was my favorite principal. He was a kind and wonderful man who taught me to stand up for myself and not let myself get bullied. Always showed he truly cared for his students.

Lorri, Lowell and Larry, I'm sorry to hear about your dad, but now he's with your mom again. He was my favorite principal of all the ones I worked with in my 30 years of teaching.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your Father. I know Tom liked your Dad and your Mom, and enjoyed talking to them. Your Dad use to come into the bank to "pick on me" and I truly enjoyed him.

Lorri, Larry and Lowell,
Lee was my principal when I taught at Longfellow School in Sidney. I loved Lee and felt that he was not the typical administrator. He maintained his "teacher" perspective, understanding what we teachers were going through, and totally supporting our efforts. I will always remember his ornery smile!

My Deepest Sympathy, Lee was my principal at East School when I was a kid and my co-worker at Big Lots.
