Louann A. Heinrichs “Tot”, age 91 of Greenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Brookdale Centennial Park Nursing Home, Englewood, Ohio. Born May 13, 1927, Tot was a daughter to the late Jacob G. & Minnie Mae (Ayers) Spillman. She was a graduate of the Ohio State University and received her Master’s degree from Miami University. Tot was a home economics school teacher for over 25 years for Greenville City Schools and was a member of many area associations and clubs including: The Darke County Ohio State Alumni Association; Member of the Ohio & National Vocational Association; Ohio State Alumni Association; Ohio State Alpha Delta Gamma; Greenville Beta Sigma Phi; Greenville Criterion Club; Local Visitors Bureau and was very active in the D.C.C.A. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by siblings Jack Spillman; Mary Helen Richards; Frances Kennedy; Albert Spillman.

Survived by children Steve & Karen Heinrichs; Cindy Heinrichs; Jo Johnson: grandchildren Jake Heinrichs, Kate (Nick) Searcy; Mara Johnson.

A celebration of Tot’s life, will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, 1499 North Broadway, Greenville, Ohio.

A Church Service, in her memory, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the 1st United Presbyterian Church, 114 East Fourth Street in Greenville, Ohio with the Reverend Dr. John Person presiding.

I was not aware of Tot’s passing until after the Celebration of Life and Memorial Services. Please accept my condolences. Tot was great educator, an avid OSU supporter, and a friend; I will always have fond memories of her in each of these areas.

Swim meets, summer days at the pool and 4th of July memories all involve Mrs. Heinrichs and her family. She was a great lady and a wonderful family friend. She will be missed.

My husband and I stopped at a rest stop in Nebraska in the early 80's and as we were pulling out I yelled to Bob "Stop that's Mom's best friend Tot!". Sure enough it was Tot! Small world story I couldn't wait to tell my mom,Janet Lewis.
