Dad in his married years attended Ansonia First Church of God. Then later years attended Woodington Christian Church until his health and older years. He then at age 90, went through a year of the bible at home before getting baptised in his home.

hard-working, strong. dependable, and fun to be around. You have a big heart, a warm hug, and a ready smile. You care about faith, family, and doing what's right and good. What's hard is measuring the love I feel for you, Dad. And how munch I appreciate and thank God for you too. So, I hope it's obvious- I think the world of you. I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know Uncle Marvin will be greatly missed. 
I was so saddened to hear of his passing . He was a wonderful man, and I'll always remember his kindness. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

My first memory of Uncle Marvin was when he was in the service.  I was about 5 or 6 years old and every so often my Grandma and Mom  would take a picture of me in front of  Grams tv so Marvin could see how much I had grown.  I was the first Grandchild you see.                               My latest memory is of texting many an evening during the Reds games.  We always had it figured out what they were doing wrong .  He also talked a lot about his family and kept me up-to-date on what they were all up to.  I’ve never heard of anyone any prouder of his family than he was.                                                             I loved Uncle Marvin and I’m thankful for the time I got to spend getting to know him better  thru texting back and forth the last couple years❤️

Everyday was a new adventure with my dad. He would always say 
"Well what's next? But, most of all he liked his Ohio sports. Ohio State and the Bengal Tigers football, but most of all the Cincinnati Reds baseball. Dad watched it on t. v. in his stuffed chair. Oh my when they would score, he would start shouting.  And he would start pounding his arm on his arm rest of his chair and then he stood up!Even until his last days. One of our first vacations was to the Reds field.
Every year he would plant his field with his own equipment. One year the planter spacing bar  chains rusted and I was called upon to help. I rode on the back of the International Farm tractor and at each end of the field, I would put the marker in the field rows. The most fun time we ever had together by far.

Dear Connie and your family. 
My heart is very saddened to read of Marvin's passing. Will always have special memories of the Boyd family. They rode my school bus and Lennie was in my grade. Was friends with Norma and Phyllis until they all moved from Brock. So happy that Marvin excepted the Lord as his Savior.  Prayers for you Connie in the days ahead for strength and comfort.
