Mary N Worthen

Mary Nell (Raines) Worthen, age 75, of Vandalia, Ohio passed away at 3:01 pm Thursday, February 13, 2025, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Mary was born September 26, 1949, in Onedia, Tennessee to the late Curtis Raines & Lula Mae (Young) Suter. Mary is also preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Weese, and Mona Isaacs.

Mary is survived by her children, Eric Worthen and Michael Lowe. As well as her sister, Brenda (Paul) Dudding.

Mary was an STNA at a few nursing homes during her life. But, she truly loves to play bingo and to be dancing. Mary will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who had the honor of knowing her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, with a service to follow at 12:00 pm. There will be a burial service at Greenville Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to EverHeart Hospice in Greenville in Mary’s memory.
