Aunt Nancy was such a gentle soul. I always loved her voice. So soft and sweet. Its probably what I remember most. My mother was the oldest girl and she always told me that Aunt Nancy looked like Natalie Wood when she was young. They would talk on the phone often because my mother didn't drive and couldn't go visit as often as she would have liked. We always laughed because Aunt Nancy called my mom "Mame" . We would tease my mom and tell her they called her that because of that old, old song "Put the blame on Mame, boys". LOL.
I know that my mother loved her so. I am sure she is holding her close in heaven tonight.
As long as we remember...they are with us always.
