Our dearest mother, Nancy Jane Sink, went home to be with her Lord and Savior November 11, 2021. Nancy was born in Ansonia, Ohio, February 1, 1932, daughter of Theodore and Nellie (Riegle) Tharp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Leroy Sink, daughter Christine (Sink) Henderson, two sisters, Phyllis Fansler and Barbara Rismiller, and brother Theodore Tharp. Nancy is survived by sister Ann Perry, 6 children- Vicki Gebhart, Debra (Tony) Black, Patty (Ben) Browning, Jeffrey Dale Sink, Barbara (Jim) Fishinger, and Linda (Kelly) Duckett, 14 grandchildren- Lisa Gillespie, Gary (Shelly) Gillespie, Heather (Don) Batty, Emily (Travis) Bennett, Lukas Browning, Samuel Browning, Clayton Browning, Jacob Henderson, Laura (Bryan) Elle, Zachary Fishinger, Jonny (Tori) Fishinger, Caleb Fishinger, Dylan (Emily) Peck, Clint (fiancee Aleigha) Duckett, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Nancy grew up in Ansonia, Ohio, then moved to Greenville, Ohio, where she and Dale spent their lives raising their family. While nurturing 7 children, she also worked a variety of jobs, including Jamesway. Nancy loved the Lord, worshipping at several local churches, most recently Evangelical United Methodist, where she enjoyed participating in the women’s ministry. Nancy also enjoyed bowling, playing cards and games, and scrapbooking. Nancy committed her lifetime to making a loving home for her family. Her legacy will live on through all of the many lives she touched with her sweet and gentle soul. We know that she is in a better place now in the arms of Jesus, where she is physically and mentally whole. We will miss her deeply but she will remain in our hearts forever.

Viewing for friends and family will be at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home on Sunday, November 21, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held Monday, November 22, at 9:00 a.m., also at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home. How many amazing things can you say about one person? Well for this wonderful women, there would not be enough time in the day to express them. Nancy, my loving grandmother, was one of a kind, She was the kindness person you ever would hope to be or become friends with. Her character was genuine and she demonstrated her love to others. If you asked anyone about Nancy, I am confident they would say she was a women of the lord and a saint. I will miss her always and forever. She was the most loving and caring grandmother. There was never a time I came over to her house or called her that she wouldn't say
that' s my sweet Emily. She loved on me my entire life and I hope to be the best version of her to my family. Love you to the moon and back. Fly high in heaven with grandpa. See you one day. Love you.

My grandma was the most influential woman in my life! She had the most loving, patient kind disposition. She showed me what unconditional love looked like and she had the best sense of humor. I loved making her laugh. We laughed every single time we were together. She introduced me to Jesus Christ and had me baptized when I was 11 years old. She set the most amazing example for me on what it looks like to live your life as a Christian woman. She was incredible and I hope to make her proud of me.

I was blessed to be welcomed into the large, dynamic, and loving family that Nancy and Dale Sink created through my marriage to one of their many beautiful daughters, Patty. My own parents passed when I was young, and to become a member of the Sink family positively transformed my life in innumerable ways. My life would simply not be as rich without Nancy, and all she helped create and nurture. It was Nancy's ever-present kindness, support, and loving spirit that helped make it all possible. She leaves as great a legacy as one might hope for- that of a wonderful, varied, and ever-changing group of loved ones, people who feel blessed to have known her, who will try to emulate her spirit, and who will honor her memory in their continued love and support for one another. RIP Nancy. I know you will.
Love, Ben Browning

It is with some sadness for me and certainly many others that I reflect upon Nancy's passing. I am comforted by the assurance that she is now with Jesus, Dale and daughter Christine in heaven and is no longer struggling with the health issues that burdened her later years. Nancy was sweet gracious, loving mother of seven children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am blessed to be married to her daughter Barbara. She was a mother to me as an adult for I lost my mom as a teenager. She opened her home and her heart to so many over the years I could not count those who have been impacted by this loving and beautiful woman. She was married to Dale for well over five decades. Through abundance and want she was devoted and supportive of him and sorely missed him in her later years. Most importantly she was devoted to our Lord Jesus which has assured her destiny.

The memories I have of living beside the Sink family are so precious and too many to list. Someone from our family was always at their house or someone from their family was always at our house. It was just the best growing up beside them. I send them all love and hugs at this time. God bless

Patty and family,
The photo chosen for your Mother is perfectly how I remember her! When I was in your class, and she would come to South school for one of her kids, I always thought she was so pretty! I can barely remember her voice, since she was so soft spoken and kind. When I was older I remember her, and your Dad, bowling at Sater's. She would always 'dote' on him and I admired them as a great couple!
It's so hard to lose them. No one loves you like your Mom....
Praying the memories will ease the pain and sadness in your hearts, and may God bless all of you with Peace....
