Ova B Sheets

Ova was born on November 13, 1937, in Daysboro, Kentucky, to the late Irvin & Irene (Ross) Sheets. Ova was also preceded in death by his wife, Carlene (Horner) Sheets on December 8, 2025, whom he married December 25, 1957; sisters, Virgie Branham, and Rose Sheets; and brothers, William Sheets and David Sheets.

Ova is survived by his children, Cheryl (William) Evans of Greenville, Kathy Sheets of Greenville, and Arlene (Darwin McBee) Fierro of Tomball, Texas; grandchildren, Tyler (Nadia) Fierro, Matthew Fierro, and Brad Lutz; great grandchildren, Eden Fierro, Nova Fierro, Joseph Fierro, Logan Fierro, Raquel Lutz, and Parker Lutz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ova worked as a bridge builder for 40 years with Cheeseman Brothers and Baker & Shultz.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenville Township Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice 1350 N. Broadway Greenville, OH 45331 in Ova’s memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
