Patricia Marie Doss

Patricia M. (George) Doss, age 83 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at her residence. Patricia was born in Greenville on November 18, 1942, the daughter of the late Earl and Marie (Meiring) George. In addition to her parents Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings, Evelyn Mann, Charles “Butch” George, John George, Amelia “Sissy” Harris and Mike George.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Doss, whom she married on November 23, 1963; her children, Paul (Stacy) Doss, Dennis (Jeff Hole) Doss and Melissa “Missy” (Duke) Larrison; her grandchildren, Heather (Danny) Brooks and Kyler Fender; her great granddaughter, Avery Fender; her siblings Bill George, Dale (Dian) George, Paul (Rose) George; special caregiver, Cindy Doss, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Patricia was a 1960 graduate of Versailles High School and worked at Inland/GM for 30 years. She loved to crochet and had a giving nature, and many family members received blankets that she handmade. In addition, her hobbies included bowling, playing Euchre and BINGO. Her retirement years were spent snowbirding to Frostproof, Florida, making wonderful friends and treasured memories.

She and Ray were very active in helping with the Greenville Girls Softball Association.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, Ohio, with Rev. Father Andrew Reckers celebrant.

Burial will follow in the St. Louis Cemetery, North Star, Ohio.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville as well as on Friday morning from 9-10 AM at the church.

It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to the EverHeart Hospice of Greenville or St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star.
