Sincere condolences to Becky, Rachael, and TJ, and the rest of Dick's family. Dick was my assistant football coach in high school, and we worked in the city park for 3 years in the summer. I already miss his sense of humor, and his friendship. I'm sure Mary and Dick are together once again--what a great couple they were!

It breaks my heart to hear of coach Powers passing. I had a unique relationship with him over many years. He was my junior high teacher, my freshman football coach, a varsity football coach, a co-worker during the summers at the city park, I coached his son in little league baseball and now our grandsons hang out and play little league baseball together. I learned so much from him about life and am so thankful he was in my life!
To the family, my sincere heartfelt condolences to you all! May you cherish the memories he has left you with. Godspeed coach!🙏🙏

I appreciated Dicks tolerance for me as an inexperienced football coach. He was very patient and kind and a big part of my passion for football and continuing to coach. But Dick, there are places ALMOST as Good as Cleveland. Coach, you will be missed! Coach Mack
