Robert Johnson

Robert Eugene Johnson, 70 of Eaton, Ohio passed away on Friday April 28, 2017 at 12:33 AM at Maple Gardens Health Care Center, Eaton, Ohio. He was born November 21, 1946 in Greenville, Ohio the son of the late Robert Elwood & Rosa Pauline (Karns) Johnson. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion Post 322, West Alexandria.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters: Rose Ellen Petty, & Rebecca Paul.

He is survived by his brothers & sisters in law: Raymond & Joyce Johnson, Marvin Johnson & friend Bert, Marion Johnson, & Charles “Chuck” Johnson; sisters & brother in law: Elaine Jones, Rita & Richard Melling; numerous nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio with veteran’s services by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
